I love telling people I met him on Match

Match Reviews

I was a widow and joined Match in 2009. I exchanged chit chat with a few people and made arrangements to meet one person at the Elks for a beer. He was a no show and his reason was – after he re-read my profile he realized I was a Taurus and he felt our signs clashed. I’m glad he was a no show because that kind of thinking is too weird for me. The second person I met lived 2 hours away and we both decided it was too far to meet in the middle. The third person was a winner. We met in a public place the first time and dated for over a year. We’ve been living together since 2010 and have built a home together. There are relationships that are made in Heaven or on Match.

The site is well organized and kept up to date with plenty of information. What I find is that pictures being posted by participants are not what they look like today. It would help if the site would state, “photo posting public must be no more than 3 years old”.

This site requires more money for additional features. I don’t think I should have to pay that much for additional features. It’s difficult to maneuver the website and there’s one feature that is not helpful. If I don’t choose a match, I have to keep moving, it’s not a maybe and that should be changed.

Following my divorce after 17 years of marriage, I was hesitant to try any type of site for dating, particularly worried for my privacy and safety. But utilizing Match I’ve been able to meet quality people, despite not yet meeting my long-term partner yet. The dating site is simple and easy to navigate, giving me the ample amount of information and insight to the persons I’m interested in meeting or speaking to. It gives me a few way to send flirts and list secret crushes, which is somewhat fun! 🙂

I really enjoyed being on this app. I did not find my current partner on this site but I met a few interesting people who I am still friends with to this day. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone looking to find a partner or even a friend.

I used Match many years ago and l’m very disappointed this time. Waste of money. Not worth it. They want to charge you for everything. You can’t even put the picture you want on as your profile. Horrible experience.

This site feeds you, people who appeal to your selection, once you communicate with them on a free messaging basis, you lose contact, then you pay and their profile is no longer found. This has happened a number of times, I initially gave it just a fluke chance, but it has happened more than once, in addition, I have given my preference and repeatedly my box is filled with those outside of my preference. I have more than just an inkling this is the method of which they work. They should not be allowed to charge for their services because it is never up to par. Basically they sucker you in then charge you and want to keep charging you annually if you don’t cancel, it’s a gimmick.

I joined Match with a basic membership, but I paid for a membership. I was unable to see my “likes”. I was told I had to upgrade to see “likes”. After the terrible experience, I went online and looked at the reviews. Match has a 1.2 star review. I wish I had looked at the reviews before I joined. Of course Match doesn’t give a refund even though I was only on the site a few days. I had a few messages, but the interest was “bottom of the barrel”. people I wouldn’t meet for a free meal, men I wouldn’t meet if a chemical war took place and there was only Match men left on earth. Seriously, choose a different dating site, Match is a huge rip-off!

I used Match years ago and recently became a new paid subscriber. Boy has it changed! Has the entire world became greedy? I wasn’t able to search on my own because every time I signed on I would get a prefab message that said “boost” yourself to be seen better. Better? What did I pay http://www.hookupswipe.com/hookupdate-review/ s 6 months subscription for match to control the narrative. And they offer no link on the site to contact them. What a rip off! I deleted my account, only having it for 2 weeks. Beware.

Do not waste your money on Match. Number one thru don’t have my match and they took money out of my Account after I cancelled. I spoke to the associate who told me that refund cannot be made despite that I cancelled because I am disappointed in the service.
