His eyes open and close narrowly as he slips out of reality, fading closer to the ocean floor

And while she was above water temporarily – after making sure there were no pesky humans around, of course – to get a better look at her new possession, she happened to catch a glimpse of a tall boy, steering his boat away, glowy eyes gazing into her own.

She even went above ground for a moment, walking around the far too pricey shops on the oceanside just to see if he was lingering around there. But even she wasnt that stupid, she knew very well that humans werent like her kind, and that they liked to roam around everywhere and overpopulate the Earth. So she accepted the disappointing idea that she may not see him ever again, and jumped back into the ocean, blending with the water once again.

Later that night, just as she was finishing her sculpture of valuable things shes claimed from the surface, she hears a scream from above the water (she was at a very shallow area). Startled, she decides to near the sound, only to find a boat quickly turning around and a stream of bubbles leading downwards.

But after following the trail, she is met with a boy, a familiar boy dressed in an expensive branded, half buttoned shirt

She figures someone dropped something important, or foolish people drank more than they were supposed to, like they always did, and pushed some litter into the blue water.

Y/N swims further down, grasping his hand and pulling him up, wrapping an arm around his soft waist and swimming towards the surface.

She plops him down on the large black rock, the only surface nearby, and she presses on his chest, watching as he coughs up water but refuses to wake up. She takes her time to admire his features, soft cheeks and inked chest and all, swiping his hair from off of his eyes. She sees a series of shiny rings on his fingers. And as much as she wants to steal them, she restrains herself because she likes him so far.

She curls up next to him resting her legs beside his on the large rock, staring up at the stars and appreciating the time she has before the afternoon boats arrive in the area.

At first, hes convinced hes passed away, the only memory he has being of the cold water slapping his torso. Hes almost afraid to open his eyes, groaning at how sore he feels, jagged surfaces pushing into the skin on his back.

Y/N waits for him to awaken. She hears a groan from beside of her, immediately moving to press her hands into the rocky surfaces next to his head. He squints, a crease forming in his forehead at the bright light. She quickly covers the sun, shielding his face from the rays of light.

Harry opens his eyes, blinking once before closing them again. Everything seems blurry, and he doesnt know why his head is in such pain when he specifically remembers withholding from drinking.

He opens them once again, clearly seeing the blue skies in front of him, and wondering where the sun is. Thats when he notices the silhouette blocking his view of the sun, blinking again to get a better look at her.

So she swims after the bubbles, hoping to find something valuable she can add to her sculpture of things to pawn for cash in the world above ground

Harry adjusts his eyes for another moment, finally opening them. And when he does, he swears hes died and gone to heaven. He doesnt think that humans glow in that way, doesnt believe that they have flawless skin and lashes that long. Her eyes widen as he acknowledges her finally, and her cheeks quickly redden when he props himself up on his elbows.
